A very very loving mother of a 2-year-old, Kim, opened up a box full of toys for her daughter. It was Kim’s day off. Amayra was thrilled to see the best-looking dolls and teddy and rattles. Kim saw a sparkle in Amayra’s eyes and felt proud that she was the best mother in the world. Spoilt with choices, Amayra picked up the one that she loved the most and toddled away to her grandmother in the next room. And suddenly, Kim’s joy turned into worry. She was struck with the realization, that her innocent child did not know the value of things. She immediately understood that she was not the best mother in the world until, she gave her child not just toys but toys that teach her something. She now wanted her child to know how to respect and have gratitude towards whatever she received. She understood that only when a child has a grateful heart will she be able to pass down the same. And that is how Toys on Wheels was born as an idea. Kim worked day in and day out to gather more information on how a child could learn through fun. This is when Toys on Wheels became her full-time job and she dedicated her life to making providing meaningful toys to all children across the globe.
